Nashik: It will be another rain filled hilly and mountainous task for the riders as the MRF MOGRIP FMSCI NATIONAL RALLY CHAMPIONSHIP-2W, 2019 enters its second monsoon destination of the season at Nashik for the 3RD  round. Winning the opening round at Indore in style and continuing the winning spree at Pune, spirits will be high for Rajendra R E who will be eager to beat his TVS racing team mate and compatriot R. Natraj, last year’s winner and the current Defending National Champion.

It was a last minutes shift of the entire route due to heavy monsoon rainfall that had lashed Nashik and its adjoining regions for the previous fortnight, resulting in total washout of the dirt road in the Dindori tehsil. “It was a nice challenging dirt track that would have added more thrill for the riders as well as  motorsports enthusiast, heavy rains seems to have messed the good dirt cover as well as it resulted in the canal adjoining the road flowing above the danger mark, in this situation it was not safe to carry the event hence we have had to shift the event on tarmac in another rain friendly area of Ghoti-Vaitarna”, COC Amit Waghchoure said while speaking to the press at Nashik.

50 participants have registered including 5  entries in the Star of Nashik, a special category to promote the local talents. R. Natraj has had a winning spree at Nashik and will be under tremendous pressure to maintain his record win with the first of the season, though he has been among the top three places, a loss at Nashik will seal his fate for the Championship title.

Adnan Ahmed, privateer from class 4 will be center of attraction after his heroics at Pune where he beat Natraj to win the second place, he will be eager to make a mark over the class 1 riders.
